Frequently Asked Questions

How do I measure for the right size?

Measure around your ankle, 2 inches (5 cm) above the ankle bone — not your shoe size. Then match it to the size chart: M 7.5–9 in (19–23 cm), L 9–10.4 in (23–26.4 cm), XL 10.4 in and up (26.4 cm+). Between sizes? Size down for a snugger fit, or up for a looser one. If you're unsure, contact us before ordering and we'll help you pick.

Does this come as a single sleeve or a pair?

One sleeve per order, not a pair. It fits either ankle, so there's no left or right to choose at checkout. If you need support on both sides, order two.

What activities is this built for?

Everyday wear, long shifts on your feet, walking, hiking, running, and recreational court sports like basketball or soccer. If you're doing heavy lateral cutting at a competitive level, a rigid brace is likely a better fit — this is built for low-profile comfort and adjustable support, not maximum structural lock-down.

Is this a medical device?

No. This is a support accessory, not a medical device. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. If you have an existing injury or ongoing pain, consult a healthcare professional before use.

Can I wear this inside a running shoe or work boot?

It's a slim knit sleeve rather than a bulky shell, designed to be worn with everyday sneakers. How it fits inside your shoe depends on the shoe — if you're unsure, contact us before ordering.

Does this contain latex?

We're still confirming full material composition with our supplier. If you have a latex sensitivity, please contact us before ordering so we can confirm first.

How is this different from athletic tape or a rigid brace?

Tape works but takes practice to wrap correctly and has to be redone every time. A rigid lace-up brace gives more structure but is bulky. This sits between the two: a slim knit sleeve with an adjustable figure-8 strap, so you set the fit yourself without laces or tape.

How long can I wear it per day?

That depends on your comfort and what you're using it for — a few hours during activity, or a full shift. We'd recommend taking it off periodically rather than wearing it continuously for extended periods, and checking with a healthcare professional if you're managing an ongoing injury.

What's the return policy if the size or fit is wrong?

Two promises. Wrong size: email us your order number and the size you need, and we send the right one free. Not happy for any other reason: email us within 30 days of delivery for a full refund, worn or not, with no need to ship it back. Full details are in our Refund Policy.

How do I put on and adjust the figure-8 strap?

Three steps: pull the sleeve on (open toe, covered heel), cross the two strap ends over the top of your foot and around your ankle in a figure-8, then fasten the hook-and-loop tab. Pull it snugger for activity, looser for all-day wear.
